How do you check AI predictions about biology?

AI analysis is not enough. You have to test predictions in real biological systems.

Owkin uses K Pro to inform our ongoing work in selected research areas. When K Pro makes an interesting prediction about new biology, we test that prediction in our wet lab.

The results tell us if K Pro is providing the level of biological insight we need and the data can be fed back into K Pro to improve its future responses.

Owkin Wet Lab

Technology

State-of-the-art in vitro methodology

Our lab uses patient-derived organoids to more faithfully recapitulate the biological environment in real patients - supported with a variety of immunohistochemical techniques.

Building towards a semi-autonomous lab-in-the-loop

Owkin is developing the connection between our AI scientist and our wet lab. In the future, K Pro will be able to autonomously request wet lab validation for key experiments during its autonomous action.
